Tides of Comodo Server Rules

1. Botting, Hacking & Third-Party Programs

• Using bots, macros, autohotkeys, autoclickers, or any automation is strictly prohibited.
• Only the official client and files may be used. Modifying client files to affect gameplay (e.g., Big Card sprites) is forbidden.
• Exceptions:
  • Homunculus AIs are allowed only if they don’t auto-feed or auto-walk.
  • Visual-only sprite modifications that give no advantage (custom auras, carts, homunculi) are allowed.
  • Skill effect modifications for PvP visibility (e.g., greymaps) are allowed, including in towns for WoE purposes.

2. Chat & Vending

• Do not bypass no-chat or no-vending zones.
• Shop titles must be honest and appropriate. False ads or offensive/empty names are forbidden.
• Don’t reserve vending spots unfairly by underpricing or placing buying shops to block space.
• Avoid spamming skills in town maps.

3. Exploits & Game Integrity

• Exploiting bugs for unfair advantage (duplication, auto-farming, etc.) will result in permanent bans.
• Report exploits to the GM team; rewards may apply.
• Do not impersonate Gamemasters (GM) or claim insider knowledge.

4. Names & Conduct

• Offensive or inappropriate names or titles are prohibited (characters, pets, homunculi, guilds, shops, parties).
• Trading outside Tides of Comodo for money, items, or services is forbidden.
• Advertising other games is prohibited across all channels.

5. Account Security

• Keep your password secure. Sharing it makes you responsible for any misuse.
• Using another account to bypass cooldowns is prohibited.
• Always use common sense and treat others as you’d like to be treated.

6. Item & Zeny Safety

• Don’t lend items/zeny or transfer them via unsafe methods; use in-game mail or Kafra.
• Avoid trading in crowds; verify trade details and screenshot transactions.
• Report scams immediately (within 24 hours).
• Incorrect vending or over-upgrading is not recoverable.
• Comodo Coins/Cash are non-refundable if NPC checks are ignored.
• Following these rules is necessary for any item recovery requests.

7. Global Chat Rules (#main, #market, #map, #bg, #recruit)

• No spam, trashtalk, or vulgar language.
• Primary language is English.
• Religious or political discussion is prohibited.
• Use channels for intended purposes:
  • #market: buying/selling/trading
  • #recruit: party/guild recruitment
  • #bg: battleground discussions
• Misleading or trolling players will lead to penalties.
• Report rulebreakers instead of confronting them.

8. Player Respect & PvP

• No harassment, discrimination, or attacking others’ monsters without permission.
• Homunculi, plants, and mobs should not disturb other players.
• Competitive MVP and PvP tactics are allowed within the rules, but harming other players’ farming/leveling is forbidden.
• WoE participation requires a guild emblem. Offensive or duplicate emblems are prohibited.
• AFK or multi-client use in Battlegrounds is forbidden.
• No unfair turn-taking in Battlegrounds.

9. Gamemaster Rules

• GMs never ask for items or passwords.
• GMs do not provide free zeny, items, or tank/leech services.
• Respect staff; no harassment or offensive language.
• Do not spam GMs or ask to become a GM. Recruitment is announced publicly.
• GMs can ban or mute for rule violations without warning.
